When you’ve decided which course is for you, visit the relevant course page and enrol. You will be asked to create a PTC account and will have the option to pay for the course in instalments or in full. Once payment has been processed, you will have immediate access to your course.
Now choose your two free e-learning modules.
The PTC’s e-learning modules are concentrated online courses that focus on specialist topics relevant to a freelancer’s working life. The following have been selected to complement your distance-learning course.
Acquire all the skills needed to work effectively with PDFs. You’ll edit more efficiently and save valuable time.
Gain an understanding of the function of marketing in the publishing process. You’ll learn what activities are carried out within the marketing department.
Understand and prepare for the ways in which your relationship with an author will develop and change throughout the lifespan of a project.
An introduction to the departments, roles, functions and processes that make up the UK book and journal publishing industry today.
When you have chosen your free e-learning modules, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
• Your full name and PTC account username
• The distance learning course you have enrolled on
• The date this was purchased
• The titles of your selected free e-learning modules
• Confirmation that you want to enrol on Essential Grammar for half-price.
You will be able to access the e-learning modules when we have received the email and processed your request.
