  • Where: Delivered via Zoom

The Publishing Training Centre is delighted to present How to Thrive in the Age of AI, Without AI, a practical webinar sharing top tips in key areas that you need at work.

Most professionals are overwhelmed by the noise around AI. For those new to publishing, changing roles or departments, or moving into management for the first time, this disruption comes on top of the anxiety and insecurity of taking on new responsibilities. And while learning about AI is essential, it is not the only thing you need to thrive in your chosen profession. Some old-fashioned, interpersonal and organisational skills are necessary too.

This 90-minute session will cover 10 practical tools to navigate this new world, all of which are transferable and can be applied immediately, whether you work freelance, in-house or run your own company. They include:

  • communication and public speaking
  • time management
  • focus, objective setting and priority management
  • career growth positioning.

Who is it for?

  • Those new to publishing or with limited professional experience
  • Anyone in publishing who has recently been promoted or changed departments, or is dealing with structural or other changes
  • Those who are feeling overwhelmed by the challenges of keeping up with what’s happening in the industry
  • Anyone who wants to refresh their soft skills and feel more comfortable and positive at work.

Wherever you are on your career journey, this webinar will be of interest to you. The discussion will apply to all publishing levels, divisions and functions.
