The Publishing Training Centre is delighted to present How to Build and Grow your Freelance Business – a panel webinar with four experts sharing their experience and advice.
This 90-minute session will help you if you are thinking about setting up a freelance business or going freelance. What do you need to consider? What qualities does a successful freelancer need? And how do you satisfy your clients and grow your client base? How can you keep gong when times are tough?
The panellists will share their insights and we will then open the floor to questions. This is an interactive session, with questions and debate actively encouraged.
The speakers will cover:
- What you need to consider before making the move to a freelance income and lifestyle
- How to market yourself and make yourself attractive to publishers and others who may commission work from you
- What you have to know from a practical legal, financial and support perspective
- How to stay relevant, keep your skills fresh and find new clients
Who is it for?
- Anyone working in publishing who is thinking of going freelance
- New or more seasoned freelance professionals who want advice or suggestions on how to grow their business
- Anyone in-house who works with or commissions work from freelancers
