The Publishing Training Centre is delighted to present Sustainability in Publishing, a webinar that takes a closer look at what sustainability means in practice, how you can apply it to your workflows, and best use artificial intelligence (AI) to help.

This 90-minute session will bring you up to date with what is happening in sustainability. The presentation will be followed by questions, with debate and participation actively encouraged.

The speaker will cover:

  • What is sustainability, and what does it mean in practice?
  • Sustainable printing practices and models
  • Are ebooks a more sustainable option, or is that a myth?
  • What impact is AI having on sustainability?
  • What are current UK legal requirements and expectations – and how might this change in future?
  • Current projects and opportunities for collaboration

Who is it for?

  • Those working in editorial and production departments who want to know how they can make their products more sustainable
  • Those who need to understand current environmental legislation and compliance
  • Anyone with an interest in sustainability and improving their company or organisation’s output
  • Those who have to report on sustainability to management or external stakeholders
  • Champions of environmental and sustainability within organisations

Wherever you and your organisation are on your sustainability journey, this webinar will be of interest to you.
