PERSONAL EXPERIENCE OF SEVERE MENTAL ILLNESS

I have severe long-standing mental health problems, in particular a form of psychotic illness manifesting as profound OCD. My diagnosis has been confirmed by several psychiatrists and a senior clinical psychologist. A psychotic illness is a life-changing diagnosis and by its nature may not make sense to other people, nevertheless it is a real illness and disability.
