Editing (structural and copy-editing), proofreading, critiques, manuscript assessment, training (in fiction for both authors and editors). I work with independent authors, as well as traditional publishing houses.

Fiction (adult and children's) is my main area of interest. However, I also work regularly on narrative non-fiction (i.e. memoir), general non-fiction and illustrated children's picture books.

I have been an editor for 25+ years and worked in both the UK and Hong Kong, in in-house and freelance capacities. Fully freelance since 2008.
