I am a professionally trained proofreader and proof-editor of education (language and literature/ELT specialties), MG and YA fiction, business, and academic texts.

I edit on PDF (using Adobe Acrobat), Word files (using track changes), and Google documents. I am trained in using proofreading symbols electronically and on hard copy from both the UK (BSI symbols) and North America (according to the Chicago Manual of Style).

I have edited or proofread three independent fiction novels, websites, and magazine articles.

I have over twenty years of middle and high school teaching experience, a bachelors in English Literature, and a Masters in Education. I also have diverse international and multicultural experience having lived in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

I am an intermediate member of the CIEP and have completed an Editing Certificate through Simon Fraser University in Canada.
