Print Futures Awards offer grants of up to £1,500 to help individuals to progress within their career
Print Futures Awards offer grants of up to £1,500 to help individuals to progress within their career, develop their workplace skills with recognised UK training courses or support pathways into employment within the print, paper, publishing, packaging and graphic arts sectors. The grant can be used to pay for courses offered by the Publishing Training Centre
In 2017, there were a total of 78 winners representing a broad range of skills and talents, from rising stars and apprentices in commercial printers and papermaking, to budding journalists, graphic designers, and young publishers. The Printing Charity would love to hear from as broad a range as possible this year, too, from print technicians and project managers to those working in graphics, design and publishing. If someone you know is doing great things in the sector, please encourage them to apply.
Applications for the 2018 Awards are opened on 1st February and will close at midnight on 29th April. If you are an employer, particularly in an SME, we ask that you encourage your eligible staff to apply.
For more information, please visit www.theprintingcharity.org.uk/print-futures-awards.
You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org who will be happy to forward an information pack for you to circulate to potential applicants.
Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed in London in early June by a panel of judges drawn from across the industry sectors and winners will receive their Awards in London in July.
